Environment & resilience — Ndalani community and Green Village visionFROM THE GREEN VILLAGE PROPOSAL

WHY IT MATTERS

A practical response
to everyday needs.

The proposal describes livelihoods shaped by rainfed farming and unreliable water. It includes community education on sustainable agriculture, clean energy and environmental responsibility.

Our proposed work is shaped by local needs and the association’s commitment to school improvement and community empowerment.

WHAT WE PLAN TO DO

From intention to action.

01

Plan solar electricity for proposed school and water facilities.

02

Promote community learning on sustainable farming and responsible water use.

03

Explore kitchen garden and irrigation opportunities where water supply allows.

04

Build environmental assessment and maintenance into project planning.

PART OF A BIGGER VISION

Connected to
the Green Village.

Renewable bamboo, off-grid utilities and practical environmental learning are the Green Village’s shared approach to resilience.

LOOKING AHEAD

Progress we can
see and share.

As work moves forward, we plan to track:

  • Renewable energy systems commissioned
  • Environmental safeguards and maintenance plans in place
  • Community participation in practical learning activities

These are intended measures, rather than reported achievements. Implementation depends on confirmed funding, assessment and approvals.
