Skills & livelihoods — Ndalani community and Green Village visionFROM THE GREEN VILLAGE PROPOSAL

WHY IT MATTERS

A practical response
to everyday needs.

Our constitution calls for resources and development activities that help alleviate poverty. The Green Village proposal links vocational training and ICT access to better local economic opportunities.

Our proposed work is shaped by local needs and the association’s commitment to school improvement and community empowerment.

WHAT WE PLAN TO DO

From intention to action.

01

Strengthen the vocational training centre and proposed ICT hub.

02

Offer pathways into computer literacy, enterprise and practical trades.

03

Support mentoring, business planning and community learning.

04

Encourage equitable access for women, young people and people with disabilities.

PART OF A BIGGER VISION

Connected to
the Green Village.

The Green Village is designed to serve more than schools. Its proposed vocational and ICT facilities will provide a place to develop useful skills for everyday work.

Named proposed contributor: NPSAA and Miss Caricom International Foundation

LOOKING AHEAD

Progress we can
see and share.

As work moves forward, we plan to track:

  • Training participation and completion
  • Women and young people accessing skills programmes
  • Enterprise and employment outcomes tracked over time

These are intended measures, rather than reported achievements. Implementation depends on confirmed funding, assessment and approvals.
