DIGITAL OPPORTUNITY
Learning beyond connectivity
How the proposed offline classroom approach can widen access to educational resources.
FROM OUR SHARED COMMUNITY PHOTOGRAPHSDigital learning should be useful in the places where internet access is limited. The Green Village proposal includes ChipServer technology that shares locally stored resources over a classroom network.
The proposal pairs technology with teacher training, devices and a planned ICT centre. Each part matters: equipment alone is only useful when people can confidently use and maintain it.
The association also envisions the centre serving wider community needs, including computer literacy, enterprise support and practical training. These activities remain part of the planned development.
